We go to jobs all the time and find the homeowner (typically the husband) attempted repairs on their own. The customer calls us afterwards (typically the wife) to repair the item they could not repair and in fact made the problem worse. So, instead of having the problem repaired properly the 1st time, they spend more time and money having us to correct the problem they could not. We understand people want to save money and attempt to repair things on their own but, what is your time worth.
